James Spencer - President + CEO

President + CEO

Mr. Spencer has over 25 years of experience in the power industry managing the development and financing of energy projects in developed and underdeveloped countries. He founded EverPower in 2002 to pursue renewable energy development. Prior to 2002, he served as an advisor to Renewable Energy Systems Limited (RES) and was instrumental in establishing RES’s Asia Pacific presence in NSW Australia. He also served as a director of RES Asia Pacific from its inception until 2004, when he resigned to devote 100% of his efforts to EverPower.

Mr. Spencer spent ten years at Sithe Energies, Inc., including 4 years as President of Sithe Asia Holdings Limited, and was responsible for the business development and project finance activities of Sithe throughout the Asia Pacific Region. He successfully implemented Sithe’s business model in Asia, helping it to gain a reputation as one of the most successful energy developers and financiers in the Region. Mr. Spencer began his career in 1985 as an attorney in the energy project finance group at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. In 1989, he was recruited to the Prudential Capital Corporation where he served as vice president of corporate finance in the Utilities & Finance Group. Mr. Spencer was involved in over $6 billion of energy-related financings.

Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University and studied at the University of Toronto. He received a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ms. Strickland has broad experience in board processes and development, corporate governance matters, strategic philanthropy and executive staff activities. After working as a governance consultant to EverPower, she joined the Company in 2008 and is responsible for corporate governance-related matters, stock option administration, corporate policies and practices, and other Board of Directors matters.

Prior to joining EverPower, Ms. Strickland was the corporate secretary and chief of staff at U.S.Trust Corporation where she was responsible for all Board – related matters and managing the agenda for the firm’s Management Committee and other senior leadership team meetings.

In addition, she managed the U.S.Trust Corporation Foundation and the Special Services area which included events, conferences, travel and promotional items. Prior to the acquisition of U.S.Trust by The Charles Schwab Corporation , Ms. Strickland was also responsible for shareholder relations and stock option administration. She retired from U.S.Trust in 2007 after serving as corporate secretary for over 25 years.

Ms. Strickland has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College and a Masters in Public Administration from New York University. She is a former Chairman of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.

Andrew Golembski - Executive Vice Presidet + COO

Andrew Golembeski

Executive Vice President + COO

Mr. Golembeski has spent more than 20 years in the power industry in both traditional and renewable energy companies. He serves as EverPower’s chief operating officer responsible for construction and operation activities. From 2003 – 2008, he was responsible for overall project development at EverPower. His power experience encompasses wind, hydroelectric, combustion turbine combined cycle, reciprocating engines, solar and coal.

Mr. Golembeski has designed power plants, managed the permitting process, procured equipment and negotiated virtually every type of project contract. His renewable energy experience also includes the management of a solar manufacturing facility and of hydroelectric facilities. From 1991-2002, Mr. Golembeski was a Vice President of Sithe Energies, Inc., one of the largest independent power producers in the United States. He served in the New York, Beijing and London offices and developed power projects in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Mr. Golembeski received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from New York University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from New York Maritime College and is a licensed Merchant Marine Engineer.

Michael Current

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Current has over 20 years of experience in energy and finance. As chief financial officer, he oversees EverPower’s corporate and project financing including planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Mr. Current joined EverPower in 2015 from NRG Energy, Inc where he most recently served as vice president of Strategy and M&A.  Mr. Current joined NRG Energy, Inc in 2006 with previous positions of vice president of the financial planning and analysis group and the vice president of finance, accounting and compliance for Green Mountain Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc.  Prior to joining NRG Energy, Inc, Mr. Current held various key financial and planning positions in corporations such as Entergy Corporation, Transocean, Inc and Longhorn Partners Pipeline.

Mr. Current earned an MBA from Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas.

Mas Ogiso

Chief Development Officer

Mr. Ogiso has over 13 years of experience in various roles in energy, finance, and project development. As chief development officer, he has overall responsibility for the growth of EverPower’s 2.5 GW project pipeline across the United States and timely delivery of projects for financing. Since joining EverPower in 2010, Mr. Ogiso has held various finance and corporate development roles within the company. He most recently served as Director of Finance and was responsible for supporting the executive management team and Terra Firma with corporate development, M&A, strategic planning, and project financing activities for the company.

Prior to joining EverPower, Mr. Ogiso served as Senior Analyst at GE Energy Financial Services, the energy investment arm of GE Capital. At GE EFS, he was responsible for underwriting sponsor equity and tax equity investments in both traditional and renewable energy generation assets, and evaluated over 6.5 GW of equity investment opportunities. Mr. Ogiso has also held roles in the Public Finance Group at PNC Bank and in the CIPS Assurance practice (Consumer and Industrial Products and Services) at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has been a frequent lecturer at Carnegie Mellon and has advised several start-up companies in the region.

Mr. Ogiso received a Masters of Business Administration with focus in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and International Business from Penn State University and is a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania.

Katie Bellezza

Chief Commercial Officer

Ms. Bellezza has over 10 years of experience in the power industry and specializes in originating structured power products.  She currently oversees the Commercial Team with responsibility for managing the company’s portfolio of merchant and contracted generation as well as sourcing new contracts for projects in EverPower’s development pipeline.  Her responsibilities include all commercial front, middle, and back-office functions, trading and marketing of energy and RECs, ISO interfacing, credit and energy risk management, and FERC compliance.  She leads the company’s effort to structure, analyze, and execute mid- and long-term commodity hedges in the power market including power purchase agreements, options, swaps, and contracts for differences.

In a previous role at EverPower, Ms. Bellezza lead long-term offtake origination and managed the Renewable Energy Credit (REC) portfolio in the PJM ISO, New York ISO, and New England ISO.  She evaluated basis risk for new projects, managed the capacity portfolios, and negotiated ISDA’s.  Together with colleagues, she also launched ChoosePAWind (www.choosepawind.com), an initiative to educate Pennsylvanians about in-state sourced retail wind power.

Prior to joining EverPower, she spent four years with Constellation Energy as a member of their origination team.  Her main focus was valuing long-term non-standard contracts including PPAs, tolls, and options for conventional and renewable power facilities.  She also analyzed market fundamentals in PJM and MISO for capacity, power, ancillaries, RECs and solar RECS.

Ms. Bellezza holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia.
